About the event
There is SO much to be done at the MiniFarm in the fall - cutting back dead plants, disassembling the flower field, digging dahlia tubers, washing & dividing dahlia tubers, planting spring bulbs (we have over 9000 tulip bulbs coming!), collecting leaves to mulch the flower field, and more. Â We warmly welcome a hand from anyone who would like to get involved and get a little dirty! This is a great chance to see how we do things here and get your questions answered!
This weekend we will start getting dahlia tubers out of the ground and getting them washed. Volunteers will be thanked with a gift bag or tulip bulbs or dahlia tubers (to be picked up in spring) for every shift worked!
Please RSVP if you plan on attending so that we can plan that day's tasks  accordingly.  Likewise, if you RSVP and are unable to come, please let us know in advance.  We ask that you show up as close to the start time for your shift as possible so that we can organize our volunteers accordingly.
Please note: Â These events are for adults and capable/willing older children only. Â Please leave small children and pets at home.
Thank you SO much for your willingness to lend us a hand in such a busy time!
